How it works

  1. 01

    Register your company

    Sign in with your mobile number, then register the company: organisation type Seller, the legal name exactly as printed on the trade licence, the emirate and licensing authority, the licence number and its expiry date. The account is the company, not you personally — colleagues are added to it afterwards.

  2. 02

    We check the trade licence

    BuildSouk verifies the licence before any price of yours is visible to a buyer. You can build and publish listings while that is in progress — they simply stay invisible on the public catalogue until the company is verified, and appear without any further action from you once it is.

    We have not published how long this takes. Ask us and a person will answer.

  3. 03

    List what you carry

    Pick the material from the shared catalogue — the same entry every other supplier of it lists against — then set your unit, your price, the minimum order quantity, the lead time and the stock you hold. You can add your own photographs of the goods. If the material is not in the catalogue yet, you can propose it.

Ground rules

What selling here does and does not mean

  • The buyer pays you, not us. BuildSouk never holds customer funds. The order is a contract between your company and theirs, and it records both.
  • You are compared per unit. Every price for the same material is normalised to one base unit and ranked, so a keener price wins on its own terms rather than on how it was quoted.
  • Your cost prices stay yours. What you record privately against a listing is never part of what a buyer sees.
  • We have not published what it costs to sell here. Rather than print a number we have not committed to, ask us before you list.
